CoralRae Travels Launches Innovative Children’s Travel Franchise

Jan. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Four-generations of women, led by veteran flight attendant Karla Morris, are excited to announce the initial flight of “CoralRae Travels”, an innovative franchise focused on educating and entertaining children about the wonderful world of travel. “CoralRae Travels” launches with the first book “CoralRae Travels: Animal Airport”, written by Morris and illustrated by her daughter, Angela Dome. Further “CoralRae Travels” products will include activity books, dolls, travel accessories, and e-books with integrated games and bonus content. “CoralRae Travels” is currently seeking investors who want to board this exciting franchise.

“CoralRae Travels” was born when Dome took her first trip with then 6-month old CoralRae, now the inspiration for the franchise title.  The trip from Idaho to North Carolina had four legs and an overnight layover. Needless to say, it was a bit of a challenge for Dome, and she quickly called her travel-savvy mother for advice. Upon hearing about CoralRae’s travel ordeal, Morris recalled all of the parents and children she had seen take to the skies during her years as a flight attendant for U.S. Airways and Norwegian Airways. The two women, along with Morris’ mother, decided to take their experience as mothers and Morris’ professional expertise, to create “CoralRae Travels”. The first book “CoralRae Travels: Animal Airport” features a fun story following CoralRae on her first airplane trip. In addition to the colorful adventure, there are helpful tips for adults traveling with small children, games and activities.

“Our main character, inspired by my wonderful granddaughter, is always on the go – whether by airplane, car or boat – going from state to state, and country to country,” said Morris. “Travel in today's complicated world can be confusing especially for kids, and our series is designed to create an early sense of confidence and a love for travel, exploration, and an openness to the different cultures you encounter when stepping outside of your own home land!”

“My mom and I have run a successful, award winning business for years,” said Dome. “But I’ve never been as inspired about a business venture as I am about CoralRae Travels.  As a mom of a preschooler, I know there is no other product on the market like it, and that so many kids and adults would benefit from a little travel how-to.”

The first story will be simultaneously published as a traditional book, and an e-book to meet the increasing demand for digital children’s content. The project has been backed by private funding, and is now opening-up to the public with exciting incentives and opportunities to become involved.
