Douglas AZ. Jan 30, 2014. Arizona based Googly Car Company celebrates 40th anniversary launching “New” Solar Car “SunSuny”.

NEW 2014 SunSuny is a 2-seat solar assisted electric car, built as a pedal-electric hybrid, and a pedal-electric-gas tribrid. GCC’s newly developed Penta-Clutch differential drive removes drag when coasting, extending drive range. Scaling only 235 pounds, SunSuny is ideal for shorter local runs with a battery range of 20+ miles at 30 mph on the city streets. SunSuny is built as a permit ready micro car for vehicle registration.

Canopy mounted photovoltaic solar panels keep charging batteries when in Sun, or, the on-board house  charger comes in handy otherwise. Starting from $1987 for the basic version, optional upgrades are EPA approved 4-cycle, Automatic, electric start gas motor, and the silent duel electric drive unit.

About Googly Car Co: GCC is a US manufacturer from Phoenix, Arizona, founded in 1974. GCC is a very innovative company specializing in hybrid micro cars. GCC is world’s only producer of functional tribrid vehicles using three or more independent propulsion drives.
