Founded by NFL DE Antonio "The Ninja Assassin" Smith and his sister Antwonette Smith, they are leading the way in the fight against childhood obesity. Though the primary focus is to fight and prevent childhood obesity, we recognize many of the other debilitating challenges that children face. Little People With Big Challenges aims to partner with other organizations that support efforts that will fight childhood obesity. - Antonio Smith

Antonio and his Little People with Big Challenges  team attended Booker T. Washington located 119 E. 39th St. Houston, Texas 77018. Together with United Health Care, they held their Spring into Health Program. This is where faculty and students came together to discuss the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle and being active. Antonio and his staff share the importance of eating right and physical exercise with the students and how LPWBC strongly advocates health and fitness for children.

The event entailed an informative program geared towards daily things you can do to move towards living a healthy lifestyle. In addition to, they held activities outside in the school field. Entertainment was provided by DTR Parties. The Dj spinned while the faculty,  kids and LPWBC staff participated in the line dances and other fun activities which included a bouncing Castle and Trampoline. There was also a tent set-up for food and also giveaways and prizes. The goal was to get them moving outdoors.

Everyone exuded positive energy and loved being active outdoors. All in all it was a great event. This is something that needs to be done world-wide. Coming together for a cause, what's better than that!!
