New York City's Subway Idol, Joe Taylor to perform on WGN-TV's Midday News/Music Lounge

CHICAGO - Feb. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Joe Taylor, New York City’s up an coming new artist, will be performing music from his CD release, titled, “Anything’s  Possible,” live on The Midday News/Music Lounge in the WGN-TV Studios in Chicago, on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Taylor, just back from a mini tour in Texas and now on the West Coast recording and shooting a new video, will be heading to the Windy City to perform live at The Hard Rock Café in Chicago on Saturday, February 8, 2014, with his band, Frank Lucas (Piano), TD Clark (Electric Guitar), Barry Kleiber (Bass), Chuck White (Drums) and special guest, Jovie Calma (TV Host/Journalist.)

Singer-songwriter, Joe Taylor, has become a mainstay in the local bar/pub circuit in New York City for the past 14 years as well as the West Coast and Midwest.  Taylor has 2 albums to his credit, “Anything’s Possible,” released and produced by Jeff Gross and Matthew Spindel of Red Road Music in 2011, and “Try,” produced and released independently by Joe Taylor, released in 2005.

Recognized by The New York Times with a video feature on his well-deserved title of “Subway Idol,” this story shows the journey of a local musician walking the streets of New York City to Grand Central Station to do what his passion for music has allowed him to do.

Taylor, recently partnered up with Musicians On Call, a not-for-profit organization, which recruits volunteer musicians for their Bedside Performance Program, to bring live, in-room performances to patients undergoing treatment or unable to leave their hospital beds.
