The Bonez Returns with Their “Thread & Needle” Video on MTV Iggy

NEW YORK - Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- On Thursday, February 6^th, The Bonez launched their US promotions with the release of the first video “Needle & Thread” from their album Astronaut on MTV Iggy, the international music discovery website from the influential MTV Networks family. The video is from their sophomore album, which is sung entirely in English and features popular scenes from the band’s hometown, Tokyo.

The Bonez is a four piece rock band from Japan featuring members from two iconic groups, with Jesse McFaddin (V+G) and Naka (G) hailing from RIZE and T$uyo$hi (B) and Zax (Dr) from Pay Money to My Pain. The band officially debuted in January of 2013 and received a number of notable accolades, including two tracks from their first album Stand Up! that were added to the international release of the popular video game Killer is Dead. The Bonez has maintained a very busy performance schedule in 2013 with appearances at major festivals across Asia and is facing an equally packed 2014 tour lineup.

The band gained swift momentum last year, garnering collaborations with notable brands such as Beats by Dre, Jack Daniel’s Honey and Zippo lighters. Their sophomore album, Astronaut was highly anticipated amongst fans because of the pre-ordered limited edition version that featured premium gifts including a specialty designed pair of Beats by Dre headphones (titled “Samurai”) that was only available when fans purchased the album.  Astronaut was released in Japan in January and will soon be available worldwide in late February. With this album, the band is fully poised to branch out into the international market. Unlike their first album, this oneis sung entirely in English – which is a nod to their growing international fan base.
