No Cost Caregiver Respite Available in Yuba County

Feb. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Caregiver respite services are available at no cost to Yuba County residents who qualify. Home & Health Care Management, through a grant from Area 4 Agency on Aging, is offering these services to provide respite care for caregivers of seniors.

This program provides evaluation visits by a Registered Nurse and In-Home Respite services by Certified Nurses Aides and Home Health Aides. The Respite Services include the provision of personal care to the senior. In addition, this respite program allows the caregiver time to be out of the house, with a break from their caregiving duties.

To qualify for this program, the caregiver must be caring for a senior at least 60 years of age and in either Yuba or Sutter County. Limited spaces are available for this program. This program is free of charge although a sliding scale donation is requested based on the hours of respite received.
