Pacific Book Review Announces Winners and Finalists of the First Annual Pacific Book Award Contest

Feb. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- The results are in for the 2014 Annual Pacific Book Awards compiled by a group of literary agents, reviewers and subject experts under the direction of Pacific Book Review.

         “We were frankly overwhelmed with the quality and creativity of our entries,” said Nicole Sorkin, Founder and Managing Director of Pacific Book Review.  “It was very difficult for our judges to pick a winner from the group of finalists, but our proprietary scoring system worked out very well and was extremely fair,” she added.

         Books from around the country and some international destinations have been received over the past six months for the final awards e-ceremony which was held on Valentine’s Day.

“That day was pretty hectic around here,” commented Beth Adams, director for PBR.  “We had all of the finalists and winners spread out on a huge conference table and the scoring cards related to each book,” she said.

         “Since our announcement we have been receiving scores of accolades of appreciation from our many winners and finalists,” said Mrs. Adams.  “Our service is appreciated by our authors for the help in marketing and promotion of their work.”
