Get Ready for Ritz on the River at the Vicksburg Convention Center

VICKSBURG, Miss. - Feb. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- The Vicksburg Convention Center  is thrilled  to bring big band rhythm to Vicksburg.  Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra will perform some of the most popular hits from the “rat pack” era including Come Fly With Me, Georgia, and Luck Be a Lady.  This will be their premier event in Vicksburg.  “Ritz on the River” will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2014.  Dinner Show tickets are $50 (advance purchase only) and general admission show tickets are $20 in advance, $25 day and show and $15 student ticket plus applicable service charges.  Dinner will be served at 6:30pm and show begins at 8:00pm.  Tickets go on sale Monday, April 14^th and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com, 1-800-745-3000 or the Vicksburg Convention Center Box Office.  Tables can be reserved for dinner show only with group purchases of 10.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Jacob’s Ladder.  Jacob’s Ladder Learning Center provides adolescents and young adults who have intellectual disabilities with a quality education that prepares them for adulthood.

Live from Savannah , GA, raised in the Louisiana Delta and now performing across the nation, Jeremy Davis is proud to present his Fabulous Equinox Jazz Orchestra.  Don’t expect a concert or a jazz recital, but a one-of-a kind, high-energy stage show featuring some of the best entertainers and musicians the industry has to offer. Their fresh approach to the Great-American Big-Band revival developing across the nation is revolutionary, and their success has developed from several key elements:  Jeremy Davis, Band-leader: As a business professional and phenomenal tenor sax player, Jeremy has surrounded himself with only the best and most professional musicians. His enthusiastic vision and determination has created a product that wows the young and old alike, meeting and surpassing all audience expectations.

Clay Johnson, Singer: Raised in a family of Southern Gospel singers, Clay was born to entertain. his lifelong friendship with Jeremy brings a magic to the stage that is born from hundreds of “on the road” shows for many years, where together they learned how to entertain and engage audiences.

Jeremy Davis and the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra perform more than jazz, more than a big band, they put on a show.
