The Gin Blossoms Are Coming to the House of Music and Entertainment

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - Feb. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Chicagoland area music fans should remember well the heyday of the Gin Blossoms. The group has been an influence in popular music since the 1980s and will soon be gracing the stage at the House of Music and Entertainment. The Gin Blossoms will be performing live at H.O.M.E. on Friday March 7^th, giving music lovers of all ages an opportunity that shouldn't be missed. Doors for the performance are scheduled to open at 8:00 p.m. with the show beginning shortly thereafter.

A Brief History of The Gin Blossoms
Comprised of band members Bill Leen, Jesse Valenzuela, Robin Wilson, Scott Johnson, and Scott Hessel, the Gin Blossoms came together in the late ‘80s in Tempe, Arizona. Since then, they have visited more than 25 different countries, including a five-city stop in Iraq in 2010.

It was their 1992 album “New Miserable Experience” with hits such as “Hey Jealousy” and “Found Out About You” that helped the Gin Blossoms scream into the charts. Known as Jangle-Pop, their music helped the group become a radio mainstay with their 1992 album selling over 4 million copies.

Their musical success has landed the Gin Blossoms appearances on a number of major television shows, such as The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as The Grammy’s.

Tickets Still Available
Tickets for the Gin Blossoms’ live performance at the House of Music and Entertainment on Friday March 7^th are still available. Buying tickets online in advance of is strongly encouraged to ensure a spot inside the theater. General Admission tickets are $20 while a VIP Booth costs $1,000 and includes seating for 10 people and a bottle of champagne.
