Allen Iverson’s Social Status was a Huge Factor in Gregory Fox’s Conviction

Miami, FL(January21,2013)— The year 2001, while Allen Iverson was defining his legacy in the NBA, his friend Rahsand Langford was shot and killed, the perpetrator on the run. Allen Iverson spoke freely about the murder of his friend and being a high profile basketball star his stardom impacted the case. Ironically, almost thirteen years later, Iverson is still being mentioned in the news but not because of his athletic stardom or even him discussing the intense pain from losing a best friend, instead all eyes are on Iverson about his financial woes, while Gregory Fox has been released from prison and is telling his side of the story.

Gregory W. Fox was convicted of the murder of Rahsan Langford, Iverson’s best friend and although it was his bullet that killed Langford, Fox indicates the murder although tragic was in self-defense.
