(Case Number: 0:2014cv60531) In this putative collective action lawsuit, the Benefits Consultants allege that Physicians United Plan (PUP) and Florida Marketing Organization (FMO) violated, and continue to violate, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), by failing to properly compensate them for overtime hours worked. According to a federal law known as the FLSA, non-exempt employees are entitled to time-and-a-half pay for all hours worked over forty in a given workweek.
