Governor Proclaims May 16-23 as Restaurant Week in New Hampshire

CONCORD, N.H. - March 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Governor Maggie Hassan proclaimed May 16-23, 2014 as New Hampshire Restaurant Week in support of the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association’s (NHLRA) effort to showcase the wide range of dining experience available in New Hampshire. The 3^rd annual event features over 150 lodging and restaurant properties from all over the state offering 3-course prix fixe menus for lunch and/or dinner.  The Restaurant Week event runs from Friday, May 16^th through Friday, May 23^rd and encourages diners to get out and try something new during the 8 day celebration of cuisine. The event website, www.RestaurantWeekNH.com features a restaurant finder that provides an easy-to-use search module to locate participating restaurants by region, price and type of cuisine.

NHLRA President and CEO, Mike Somers reports, “Our statewide Restaurant Week offers a great dining experience for every taste and budget.  Everyone likes to eat out, and this is the week to eat out often and take advantage of the super value that the 3-course menu provides.”  The annual event is presented by The NH Liquor and Wine Outlet, Comcast Spotlight and Comcast Business.  Restaurant Week Celebrity Chefs serve as ambassadors for the week, providing interaction with foodies, sharing recipes and helping to spread the word throughout the state.  There are 3 pricing tiers for the 3-course menus; 1 fork offers lunch for $10 and dinner for $15, 2 forks offer lunch for $15 and dinner for $25, and 3 forks offer lunch for $20 and dinner for $35.
