The Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps appeared in their first appearance of the 2014 season – a mere three months from starting regular rehearsals in January 2014 – by marching in Scranton’s renowned St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 15th. Led by Drum Major Adam Burdett, a lifelong resident of the Scranton area, the Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps put forth a joyous sound and looked sharp. The Skyliners’ banner boasted that they are indeed from the Scranton/Wilkes- Thirty brass players and battery percussion of ten drummers filled the streets with the melodious strains of “Danny Boy” throughout the parade. Other members of the Skyliners were competing or marching with their high school bands.
