Art? I’d Rather Be Bowling - to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

DECATUR, Ga. - March 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Ga, June 12 2014 5pm-­12am — A Gallery Wall has partnered with Lucky Pinup Photography to exhibit an  evening filled with over 25 local art vendors, bowling, music, food, and drink that invites the entire community to join in the fun! Suburban Lanes of Decatur (2619 N Decatur Rd. Decatur, Ga. 30033) will play host offering a night to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This event is free to enter and open to all ages.

The main attraction for the evening is a bowling pin auction in which artists from all over the Atlanta and metro area have designed their own pins -­ with paintings, collage, and mixed mediums. Each pin will be on auction for a minimum of $100 each with all proceeds to benefit St Jude. We will also have a winner take all raffle-­ with items like bowling packages, a new bowling ball, a rug ( to honor the big lebowski of course), photography packages, and commissioned art by the hosts. Face painters and art tables for the kids! Event Coordinator for St Jude, Whitney Fain, has extended a web based point of sale for the pins on the evening of the event. Please come out with cash or credit to purchase your pin of choice. A web based online pre-­bidding will be up by June 1st on www.agallerywall.com.

Suburban Lanes has offered to give St. Jude “a penny per pin” -­ every pin that is knocked down from 5pm-­12am. A Gallery Wall offers artist representation, curating and art socials. We truly pride ourselves in turning any space into a gallery. Lucky Pin Up Photography provides custom photo shoots in Atlanta and throughout the southeast US. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other deadly diseases.
