Teri Tobin to help “Shine” a light on Cancer at the Relay for Life at Grand Canyon University

PHOENIX - March 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Teri Tobin, Arizona-born soulstress has signed on to donate her time and fundraise for this year’s American Cancer Society Relay for Life event scheduled on April 4, 2014 at 8pm. Partnered with Doing Thangs Productions, their goal is to bring awareness to the campaign to “Finish the Fight” as this year’s theme promotes. Having experienced the impact personally, Tobin felt compelled to be a part of it when she got the call.

“Cancer has touched us all in some way.  We have had 9 members of my own family that have had to take on this disease head-on in the last few years.  I’m thankful to say that I come from a long line of survivors.”

In addition to lending her voice at the event, Tobin will debut her new single entitled “Shine”, at the event. With the help of her band and a few special guests, she hopes that in some way it will encourage others to hold strong in the face of adversity, fight  cancer and still shine.
