Southeast Ventura County YMCA Seeks Sponsors and Auction Items for 60th Anniversary Gala

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - July 19, 2024 - PRLog -- The Southeast Ventura County YMCA is celebrating its 60^th anniversary with a gala on Saturday, September 21 at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village. The YMCA is seeking sponsors and auction items for the event.

"Each year, we host a gala to support the YMCA's 'Find My Genius,' Safety Around Water,' 'Youth & Government' and scholarship programs," says Ronnie Stone, YMCA president and CEO. "This year is extra special because we're also celebrating the YMCA's 60^th year serving our community. The YMCA was founded in Thousand Oaks in 1964 by a group of dedicated local leaders who saw a need for a YMCA in the area."

The gala attracts over 300 attendees. It includes a reception, dinner, silent and live auctions, celebrity host, entertainment and an afterparty.

The Southeast Ventura County YMCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building positive relationships, impacting lives and strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living programs and social responsibility. It serves the Conejo Valley, Simi Valley, Westlake Village, Oak Park, Agoura Hills and Moorpark through its three branches.
