Truwater Cooling Towers, Chooses CareWare to implement Sage 300 ERP Project & Manufacturing

Truwater is a manufacturer specialized in the wet and hybrid type cooling tower. In the last 20 years, Truwater has constructed very highly efficient and environmentally friendly cooling towers for the air-conditioning, power generation, biomass co-generation, petrochemical, chemical, oil & gas, steel mills, food and other processing industries. Prior to selecting Sage 300 ERP, Truwater used a legacy system that could no longer support increased operations due to a combination of in-house applications; accounting software and spreadsheets.

TruWater has evaluated no less than five (5) ERPs solutions and the finalist was MS. Dynamics AX versus Sage 300 ERP (Premium edition)

In the selection process, CareWare impressed us with its Domain Knowledge and Sage 300 ERP Project capability won the day”.

CareWare teams were able to put forward a credible solution during the POC demo and pitched Ms Dynamics Ax to win. Dynamics AX is certainly a strong manufacturing solution but was not able to shine during the demonstration as the emphasis’ of TruWater is on  the Project Costing & Tracking functionalities. Moreover TruWater was an engineer to project manufacturer with only a small percentage in the make to stock model.

Somehow the Dynamics AX team was unable to put their act together and show TruWater the strength of it software. With this in mind & due diligence in preparation, CareWare teams were able to present a complete Project & manufacturing systems on a single platform closest to Truwater needs.

The final consensus of the evaluation team was that of Sage 300 ERP Premium is a better fit and with its ease of use will propel them for our next phase of growth.
