The show is primarily a showcase for BID businesses. “Island Style is an opportunity for the businesses to experience the vibrant energy of a major runway production,” says Ronnette A. Cox, Program Coordinator.  “Not only does the show provide them with a great opportunity to display their current offerings but it also allows them a fabulous opportunity to be a part of the 5th annual Church Avenue Street Fair which has an estimate of 6,500 visitors each year.”

The fashion show which is hosted by Haitian comedian Vlad Calixte is free to the public. Community members are encouraged to come out and enjoy not only the fashions but sounds provided by DJ Wizzy of MGM Squad and the festive island atmosphere!  Attend and tweet about the #Cabfashion for a chance to win some great beauty items. Also participate in the free show raffle for a chance to win the Island Basket which includes Roberto Cavalli sunglasses courtesy of Flatbush Optical.
