Calling all old vehicle owners to Bangor Seashore Festival

COUNTY DOWN, Northern Ireland - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- The Northern Ireland Branch of the Morris Minor Owners Cub (MMOC) have been invited by North Down Borough Council to co-ordinate a display at Bangor Castle during the Bangor Seashore Festival.

There will be a large display of vehicles at this including cars, military vehicles, scooters, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, mopeds, modified & custom cars, Kit cars etc.

The Ulster Aviation Society will be present with a display along with the Ulster Military Vehicle Club who are setting up a Field Hospital.

Car Clubs already booked include the Banbridge Old Vehicle Club, Classic Rover Club and MGOC.

Maxwell Freight will have on display three of their themed Trucks incuding their latest Spitfire Truck as featured on television.

The event is open to all makes, models and ages of old vehicles as well as stationary engines.

Autojumblers are also invited to take part.

The well known Petals to Pedals cycle team will be there both days along with Face Painters who will be painting the faces of children free of charge.

On the Saturday afternoon there will be a Cavalcade of vehicles driving from Castle Park down Main Street and up High Street.

Prizes for best dressed in period costume, oldest vehicle, furthest travelled.

Free Entry for pre 1930 vehicles.
