Jean Graham Memorial Display & Short Run, Millisle 22nd July 2016

NEWTOWNARDS, U.K. - June 6, 2016 - PRLog -- The Northern Ireland Branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club invite owners of
all makes & models of cars first registered on or before 31st December 1989 to take part in their Jean Graham Memorial Display & Short Run in Millisle, County Down on Friday evening 22nd July 2016 starting at 6.45 pm.

You are invited to take part in a Display of Classic cars followed by a Short Run finishing with Presentation of Finisher's Awards and Supper in memory of Mrs. Jean Graham who died suddenly last year.   Jean was one of the founders of The Millisle Gala Week and was involved in this for 25 years organising a display for old cars, motorcycles, ponies & traps, plus tractors on separate evenings each year.  When the Gala Week ceased a number of years ago the Minor Club took over organising the Display for old cars each July.  Jean & her husband George always took the time to attend this event and see the many friends she had made from the old vehicle movement.

Jean's family will be present at this year's event and will present the Finisher's Award to entrants.

Do please support this special event in memory of Jean and all the work she did over many years.

ASSEMBLY POINT : 6.45 pm Beach Car Park in Millisle using entrance via the Ballywalter Road Car Park.  After leaving for our short run a Finishers Award will be presented to those who start and complete the official route.  On arriving back at the Car Park after the run refreshments will be served in the adjoining Church Hall.
