Before setting out on his trek, Brandy plans to visit Providence Acute Rehabilitation Center (http://oregon.providence.org/ Starting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday April 15, this walk will begin at the entrance to Providence Cancer Center at Providence Portland Medical Center. The Cancer Center entrance is on the west side of the PPMC campus – accessed via NE 47th Ave. This is Mycle’s fourth walk across the U.S. He has previously trekked from California to Washington, D.C. in 2010, from San Diego, Calif. to Seattle, Wash. in 2011, and from Maine to Miami in 2012. This walk will take eight months. Plans are to complete at Maine Medical Center in downtown Portland, Maine on December 13, 2014. This is Mycle’s longest walk attempted to date; he hopes to raise $1 million in donations along the way.He will walk through Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine.
