The Cajun Gator to Celebrate Their Grand Opening

PORT HURON, Mich. - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- The Cajun Gator is excited to announce their Grand Opening with a New Orleans’ flair!  The Cajun Gator is a Louisiana style restaurant nestled in the heart of downtown Port Huron offering “Cajun, creole and all that jazz!”

This enticing new restaurant has come onto the Port Huron scene and restaurant goers throughout the Blue Water Area are invited to sample the unique sights, sounds and tastes of The Cajun Gator.  From the moment you enter into the inviting surroundings at the newly renovated restaurant, the culture and creativity come to life.  Exposed brick walls, brightly colored pictures, authentic chandeliers and the outdoor courtyard that takes you to Bourbon Street.  You can also have the pleasure of meeting one of the family, a four-foot American alligator named Wally, housed in his own swamp quarters.

The Cajun Gator will celebrate their Grand Opening on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 beginning with a ribbon cutting, hors d’oeurves at 3:30 pm followed by celebratory dinner and drink specials, and Happy Hour prices throughout the evening.  Including 20% off all meals all night long.  Come savor the Cajun and creole cuisine that Chef Jason has created that is sure to please and wet your whistle with innovative drink specials and our own signature craft beer.

The Cajun Gator is housed in the former iconic Huron Athletic Club building in Downtown Port Huron, MI.  With the vision of the “Cajun Gator” team, the old historic building in the downtown came to life. The front facade was restored to the early 1900 era. A New Orleans style restaurant and ambience was inspired by the atmosphere and excitement of the Louisiana French Quarters.
