Rick Laney explains new changes coming to Twitter

You will see changes to your Twitter account in the next few weeks. Rick Laney, President of Rick Laney Marketing, explains those changes and how they will impact the way you use the popular social media platform.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - April 17, 2014 - PRLog -- There are a number of noticeable changes coming to Twitter. Although the new features started showing up around April 7 on a few select accounts, most people won't see those changes on their personal pages for a few more weeks. Rick Laney, President of Rick Laney Marketing, explained those changes to ABC News' Kristin Farley.

Laney says the most noticable change will be a new Facebook-like background image at the top of your personal Twitter page. Other changes include the ability to "pin" tweets to the top of your page, a new emphasis on photos and videos, and tweets that draw the most engagement will get higher placement (and will appear larger) on your page.
