Dotty’s Moving Forward Quickly with Remodeling Plans at Hacienda Hotel and Casino

LAS VEGAS - April 17, 2014 - PRLog -- The first quarter of 2014 for Dotty’s Tavern and Casinos got off to a fast start highlighted by changes at the Hacienda Hotel and Casino. The family-owned company purchased the property in December of 2013 and immediately announced plans to remodel the 32 acre site into a national park-style lodge called the Hoover Dam Lodge overlooking Lake Mead outside Boulder City.

         Visitors to the Hacienda will notice the addition of a Dotty’s themed casino on the gaming floor and a new coffee shop. Ongoing changes to the property include a room remodel with new amenties, including select suites with picturesque views of Lake Mead. Additionally, the Hacienda formed a management consulting agreement with Forever Resorts, a popular tour company. Forever Resorts will coordinate outdoor group tours that originate from the Hacienda.

         “Our focus (with the remodel) is transforming the property into a lodge themed destination with an array of entertainment options – both indoors and outdoors,” said Ally Estey, marketing and development director for Dotty’s. “We will have a fire place in the lobby and offer zip lines, hiking, biking and helicopter rides for outdoor enthusiasts.”

         Estey said remodeling at the Hacienda will be done in phases and occur throughout the rest of the year. Other changes coming to the Hacienda include a new convenience store and a sports bar.

         In addition to the remodeling at the Hacienda, other notable highlights from the 1^st quarter of 2014 include:

Dotty’s and its more than 1,000 employees gave $8,000 to local charities
