Ingolstadt/ Dubai,April09, 2014– In March,Audideliveredmorecarstocustomersthan everbeforein a singlemonth:around170,450deliveriesworldwide,a 15.4percentyear-on-yearincrease.ThisresultalsomadeMarchthe51^st consecutivemonthwithglobalsalesgrowthforthefourrings.China(+36.6%), Germany(+10.2%)andtheUnitedKingdom(+12.7%)achievedparticularlyhigh growthin thepastmonth.Audi’scumulativesalesincreasedby 11.7percentin thefirstquartertoaround412,850units.Thiswasthefirsttimethatthe companyhasexceededthemarkof400,000vehiclesinthefirstthreemonths. In the Middle East Audi sold 2,565 cars.
