Ronny Richards Endorsed By Ohio OCSEA/AFSCME and PDA

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio - April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Ronny Richards received notice on August 25th that Ohio OCSEA/AFSCME Chapter 11 endorsed his candidacy as the Democratic candidate for Ohio U.S. House of Representatives District 2. This follows three previous endorsements by the Laborers' Local 83 in Portsmouth, Ohio, Progressive Democrats of America Equal Rights Amendment National Issue Team, and the Central Committee of the Scioto County Democratic Party, of which Mr. Richards is a serving member.

When questioned about the OCSEA/AFSCME endorsement, Ronny said “I am very proud off all my endorsements, yet this one is special due to my current and long term 31 year membership with OCSEA/AFSCME and having served as Chapter 7310 secretary for approximately seven years. It’s time that the citizens of Ohio’s Second Congressional District send someone to Washington who understands the role of government and who will speak up for the hard-working folks of the district. I will keep the voice of Appalachia and unions alive in D.C. as I work hard every day to fight for women’s rights, public schools, the environment, Social Security and Medicare.”
