Follow on Google News | Meet the NEW TV Host of Dirty South TV's The Acoustic Lunch HourRusty Edwards takes the reigns of one of Dirty South TV's most popular music television shows and is ready to steer it into the future!
By: Dirty South TV He is Executive Producer for the forthcoming Weather Report jazz music documentary, featuring the music of Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter. No stranger to music, Rusty has co-written songs with jazz legends Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, Peter Erskine, and John Patitucci. His songs have been published in books used in a dozen countries, and have been sung on all seven continents. He is also the ultimate live music cheerleader. Artists appreciate that when he comes to their shows, he listens to every note. He dedicates much energy to supporting working musicians, locally and beyond. Rusty Edwards is also Senior Pastor of Christ Lutheran Church of Marietta, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Zawinul Foundation in West Hollywood, California. Special Note: Rusty Edwards is a Founders Society member of the Allman Brothers Museum at The Big House in Macon, Georgia. It was Rusty's love, passion and respect for independent music that made this a very easy decision for Dirty South TV. Rusty also has the uncanny ability to remember details about music from all time periods that weave their way in and out of his interviews. He often remembers things the artists or original song writers themselves have long forgotten. He is a perfect fit for The Acoustic Lunch Hour, and we are confident he will help the show grow even larger. Wait til you see Rusty's smile at Steve's Live Music located at 234 Hilderbrand Drive • Sandy Springs, Georgia 30328! End
