Litchfield Gas Stations Coming Together

LITCHFIELD, Conn. - April 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Two West Street gas stations are consolidating as of April 30.  The Bantam Fuel Mart on West Street in Litchfield will be closing, and patrons are welcome to fill up at sister station, Irving, across the street.  Both stations are operated by the trusted local energy company, Bantam Home & Energy.

According to Bantam Home & Energy President Peter Aziz, closing the Bantam Fuel Mart makes sense for the company and the community.  “When we purchased the Irving location almost three years ago, we were delighted to offer a convenient station.  But the reality is, there’s no reason for multiple stations within such close proximity.”  He added, “With easier access, ample parking, covered pumps that protect from bad weather and the larger convenience store, the Irving station provides quality service and value to our neighbors.  Consolidating our efforts into that one location makes sense for everyone.”

Through May 31, receive a free cup of coffee with every fill-up at the Irving station.  Aziz hopes patrons will stop in and fill up to experience the station for themselves.  “We’re eager to welcome long-time Fuel Mart customers to our Irving station.  We’re confident they will find it a positive experience.”

The Irving station is located at 250 West Street.
