What is 3 VFD?

So called 3 VFD means 3 drive systems including centrifuge main motor drive, centrifuge back motor drive and centrifuge feeding pump drive system. By using this 3 VFD system, centrifuge’s bowl rotating speed, back motor rotating speed and pump flow or pump speed all can be adjusted without changing the belt, and even during operation.

Why use VFD?

1.    Unless fixed speeded decanter centrifuge, a VFD drive system can give perfect protection for motors. For reaching a high speed, the speeding procedure is from slow to fast, not in a sudden.

2.    By using adjustable VFD drive, any possible rotation speed of the bowl from 0 to 3200, for example GNLW363VFD, can be reached easily.

3.    More possible rotation speed means more applications one centrifuge can do without bothering to change pully and belt.

Also as a nice and reliable VFD centrifuge, GNLW363VFD has a reliable performance, But some customers who buy GNLW363VFD also require to install a coupling which is used for fixed speed model GNLW363. In this way, this centrifuge can be used as a fixed speed centrifuge in some cases.
