Follow on Google News | IAOP Announces a New Leadership Position and Key PromotionsBy: IAOP In her new position Kim will work closely with the CEO and executive team to define strategic goals across all lines of business. She leads company-wide marketing and oversees membership, member services, communications and branding. She serves on IAOP’s Strategic Advisory Board as well as the editorial board of Pulse magazine, the official publication of IAOP. “Outsourcing is one of the most complex and ever-evolving industries in the world and with Kim’s diversified experience, we are confident she is the right person to help us translate that into increased value to members, growth of our certification program and IAOP as a whole,” said Debi Hamill, CEO of IAOP. Kim was an instrumental part of the team that launched IAOP in 2005 and in her tenure has held various positions from director of marketing to managing director of membership. Prior to that, she was director of client services at Michael F. Corbett & Associates. Kim holds a bachelor’s degree from Pace University in New York. “I am honored that Debi and the IAOP team have placed their confidence in me,” said Maneeley. “I’m looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that come along with helping lead the industry’s largest and most highly respected association.” Michael Forbes was recently named Managing Director of Membership. In this position he manages all existing member services such as IAOP’s Knowledge Center, Firmbuilder.com and IAOP’s Global Chapter Network as well as develops and implements programs designed to enhance member value as well as increase and retain membership within IAOP. Forbes has been part of the IAOP team for seven years, most recently as Director of Member Services. Prior to that, he spent a decade in the packaging industry. Amanda Safdar was recently named Director of Global Events. In this role, Amanda is responsible for overseeing the logistical planning and overall delivery of all aspects of IAOP’s events, world-wide, including The Outsourcing World Summit, IAOP’s cornerstone event, which in 2014 attracted more than 800 attendees from leading corporate workplaces for a three-day program of workshops, panels, plenary sessions, an awards luncheon and networking events. In addition, she works closely with her team on content development, sponsor relations and delegate care. Prior to joining IAOP in 2012, she was a sales lead management coordinator at Walt Disney World. “Michael and Amanda have been instrumental in the growth of IAOP.
