City of Arcola Texas Mayor Evelyn Jones and Chief of Police David Tezeno

HOUSTON - May 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Breaking News for Arcola.

The Integrity Unit of the Texas Rangers and the FBI are looking into possibly criminal wrongdoings of  Mayor Evelyn Jones and the Chief of Police David Tezeno of Arcola, Texas. Over the last month, numerous Arcola police officers have been arrested by Harris County for criminal wrongdoing.  This is not uncommon for Arcola, because of previous Chiefs and Officers getting arrested or fired before,  but this is just the beginning of events for the next 2 months.

For a preview of what could occur in Arcola, one needs to read about the history of Kendleton, Texas. Kendleton Texas no longer has a police department, because of massive corruption and judgements against it. Currently, Kendleton is presided over by the County's Sheriff's Office.

A Brief History: February 2013, Mayor Evelyn Jones Swore in Police Chief David Tezeno.

"Tezeno came to work for the City of Arcola in 2007 as a reserve officer primarily to maintain his license which he received at the U. of H. Law Enforcement Academy. He was the guy you never see as he worked from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and on the weekends, hours which suited him just fine since he had a trucking company. "

David Tezeno had a prior DUI, but that did not prevent his hiring as Police Chief.

Now, numerous police officers hired under Chief of Police David Tezeno have been found to have criminal backgrounds, however, they have not been fired.

Mayor Evelyn Jones used to be in the police department as the old chief's admin assistant. Mayor Evelyn Jones knows where the skeletons are hidden.
