NAAFA-CC Announces First Quarter 2014 Size Savvy Awards

LAS VEGAS - May 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, NV - The Clark County Chapter of NAAFA is pleased to announce the first recipient of the NAAFA Size Savvy Healthcare Award, Dr. Janet Baumann of Baumann and Associates. The Size Savvy Project makes information available to the public regarding healthcare providers and business owners who have made their practice or business welcoming to people of all sizes.  A size savvy facility meets certain criteria making it accessible and accommodating.  Once a quarter, awards will be presented to healthcare providers and businesses that prove to be size savvy or express a particular interest in becoming so.

“I am very pleased to be part of this project”, stated Dr. Baumann upon receiving the award.  “I hope we can all work together to increase awareness and acceptance of our differences in size, abilities and preferences.”
