Non-profit organization to perform classic Motown hits in celebration of Father's Day

INDIANAPOLIS - May 19, 2014 - PRLog -- The Cupboard Inc. is proud to announce the kickoff of its season with a new live show, “Motown & Beyond.” The one night only show will take place June 15 at the historic Athenaeum Theater, located at 401 E. Michigan St. at 6pm. Performers from past shows of the organization will perform classic Motown hits and reprise old time favorites.

The Cupboard Inc. recently ended its Indianapolis run of Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple and is currently preparing to tour the show. “Motown & Beyond” will be one of two shows the organization plans to do before kicking off The Color Purple tour in August.

“We are very excited about this show and strongly believe the audience and community as a whole will love this show. When you have a group of talented singers performing classic hits, it will be a great time.” said Joyce Licorish, president of The Cupboard Inc.

General admission for all seats is $25 and tickets can be charged by phone or online.
