Long Beach Artists Support Local Child Development Program

LONG BEACH, Calif. - May 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Comprehensive Child Development, Inc. (CCD) is celebrating 30years of serving the Long Beach, San Pedro, and Wilmington communities. To celebrate this milestone, CCD is holding its 4th annual fundraising event, “Art of All Ages,” on June 7^th, 2014 from 4:00 -7:00 pm in the Duncan Anderson Design Gallery on the campus of CSU Long Beach. This event will honor Assemblymember Bonnie Lowenthal for her years of service and recognize special guests Rich & Pat Archbold and Damon Dunn for their dedication to CCD.

The event features artists David Early, Christine Nguyen, Cecilia Miguez, David Gilmore, and many more in their silent auction/reception to raise funds to support families served by the organization. Works by these artists and many others will be featured along with colorful and original pieces created by the children of CCD ages 3-5. CCD is also seeking local businesses and community members to sponsor the event to help us raise $30,000 to celebrate our 30^th year of service.  We held numerous “open house” art days with the children with local artist and Art of All Ages participants Myriam Joseph-Loeschen, Helen Cox, and Pat Archbold (special guest of honor).
