Follow on Google News | Cyber Bully Outed; Can He Be Stopped?Used At Least Eight Separate Identities In Harassing Physician and Family; Attorney General Claims That The Laws Haven't Caught Up For Prosecutorial Purposes
In the posts, Johnson accused the physician of "medical genocide", murder, homosexual rape, psychiatric dysfunction, and other sexual crimes too graphic to describe in this release. Johnson also identified the physician's wife, home address and phone number, accusing her of similar crimes. Johnson's employment with the physician was terminated after a series of drug related relapses forced the doctor to let him go. Apparently Johnson was upset with his dismissal, motivating him to seek "revenge". Computer forensic experts followed a trail of IP addresses and social media sites to track down Johnson, who attempted to disguise his identity by using at least nine different 'nom de plumes'. Johnson stalked the physician and his family for nearly three years before his identity could be determined. Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley's office has been notified; however Coakley has indicated that laws on cyberbullying refer primarily to school-age situations and may not be applicable in this case. Now that Johnson has been identified the victims are considering legal action. Johnson refused comment, which came as a surprise considering his activity.
