OXFORD, U.K. - June 4, 2014 - PRLog -- From the 1st January 2015, due to strict EC Regulations, it will become illegal for any business to service or maintain an air conditioning system that uses R22 refrigerant gas.

Oxford Air Conditioning is already experiencing a large increase in demand from businesses that want to replace their systems, before the deadline comes in to place. As the deadline rapdily approaches, the demand fo qualified technicians is increasing; as such, industry experts recommend that businesses replace their systems before it is too late.

At the beginning of 2013, Mitsubishi Electric predicted that there were around 750,000 R22 systems still in use. This is a large number of systems that require large-scale modification or replacement before the end of the year. Companies that do not comply with the new EC regulation could risk large fines, or even worse, site shutdown.
