Diamonds All-Stars Announces Summer Camps and Clinics

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - June 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Diamonds All-Stars is thrilled to announce summer camps and several upcoming clinics.

"We are so excited to offer such a variety of camps and clinics this summer,” Noël Roberts, president and owner of Diamonds All-Stars, said. “Athletes can substantially increase their tumbling and cheerleading skills over the summer months and they have lots of fun in the process!"

The gym, recognized as one of the top five small gyms in the country by the U.S. All Star Federation, will hold two summer camps for children ages four to 12. The first will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, June 16 to Wednesday, June 18. The second camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, July 8 through Thursday, July 10. Aftercare is available for a separate charge. Cost for each camp is $140. Lunch will be provided and snacks will be available for purchase in the concession stand or campers can bring their own. Different activities will be held each day and include tumbling classes, arts and crafts, movies, games, contests, free play, bounce houses and a pizza party on the last day. Diamonds HANDSPRING Clinics

Offered from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, June 26; Wednesday, July 16; and Wednesday, July 30. Cost is $25 per child per date. Work on getting that handspring by yourself or strengthen your existing handspring and work handspring progressions!

Diamonds STANDING TUCK Clinics

Offered from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 26; Wednesday, July 16; and Wednesday, July 30. Cost is $25 per child per date. This will be challenge whether you’re just starting standing tucks or if you’ve had your tuck for years!

Diamonds FLYER Clinics

Offered from noon to 3 p.m., Thursday, June 19; Thursday, July 17; and Wednesday, August 6. Cost is $35 per athlete per date. Open to all ages. Space is limited. Must register by calling 865-250-6808 or emailing DiamondsAllStars@gmail.com.

Diamonds TUMBLING Clinic

Lead by Jordan Thomas, head tumbling instructor of Rain Athletics, on Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1. Clinic for levels 1 and 2 will be held from 10 a.m. to noon; clinic for levels 3, 4 and 5 will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $50 per athlete. Space is limited. Diamonds 1 DAY CHEER Clinic

Offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, July 15. Athletes will practice tumbling, stunts, cheers, chants, jumps, motions and dance, and have lots of fun! Cost is $35 per athlete. Clinic is available for ages 5 and up (camp will be split in ages). Lunch will be provided. Register by calling 865-250-6808.

Diamonds CHEER CAMP

Offered from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24. Athletes will practice jumps, motions, dance, stunts, tumbling and improve flexibility. Cost is $70 per athlete. Available to athletes ages 5 and up (camp will be split in ages). Lunch will be provided. Register by calling 865-250-6808.
