1967-1968 Mustang Clutch Cable Conversion Kit

ONTARIO, Calif. - June 12, 2014 - PRLog -- California Pony Car’s 1967-1968 Cable conversion system is a ”natural” for the early Mustang, and is the strongest system you can install. There are no moving parts to wear out, and the system maintains a constant length over the lever arm as the clutch pedal and quadrant move through their travel. A clutch cable is a great upgrade from mechanical linkage without the hassle of installing a hydraulic system.

California Pony Cars’ clutch cable conversion will work with T-5, T-45, T-56 or Tremec transmissions. This system utilizes a Fox body Mustang type adjustable clutch cable, a T-5 or Tremec type 5.0 bell housing and throw arm designed for cable clutch operation. Clutch adjustment is easy with the built-in cable adjuster and no tools are needed. The custom length cable clears headers and shock towers. Manual and brake setups and most power brake boosters are compatible with this Cable conversion system

Kits includes: cable, quadrant, stop/firewall reinforcement bracket.

For use in conjunction with a late model (1980-1993) T5 type bell housing and throw out arm. Also applicable for 1967-1968 Mercury Cougars
