June 27 through August 25, 2014 This photo exhibit is a joint project of the Embassy of Ukraine in the US, the Consul General of Ukraine in Chicago and the Ukrainian National Museum. This exhibit embraces almost 40 images taken by the National Geographic Magazine photographers in Ukraine from August 1918 through October 2013. The photographs feature Ukrainian plentiful lands, pre-war and post-war Ukraine, the Chernobyl tragedy,special spirit of major Ukrainian cities as well as Ukrainian people. Opening night Friday June 27, 2014 at 7 pm will include live music. Opening night admission $10.00. Exhibit Sponsor: Selfreliance Ukrainian American Federal Credit Union. The Ukrainian National Museum is located in the heart of the Ukrainian Village, at 2249 West Superior Street in Chicago.
