Chief Economist of Freddie Mac to Speak in Las Vegas at The Economic Club of Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS - June 16, 2014 - PRLog -- The Economic Club of Las Vegas (ECLV) has announced that Dr. Frank Nothaft, Chief Economist of Freddie Mac, will speak at the Club’s Speaker Event on Thursday, June 19 at 5 p.m. in the Florentine 1 Ballroom at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Dr. Nothaft will provide a view of national economic trends that will impact Las Vegas tourism and the economy in Southern Nevada, ” said Mr. Ned Martin, Vice-Chairman of the ECLV Board of Directors and Chief Financial Officer of American Casino Entertainment Properties LLC.

Dr. Nothaft served as past president and is current member of the Board of Directors of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association. Prior to Freddie Mac, Dr. Nothaft was an economist with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.

Since its inception in 2013, ECLV has developed a strong team of officers and assembled a prestigious group of board members dedicated to bringing nationally recognized speakers to Las Vegas.
