By: Arizona Summit Law School In his new role, Mr. Perez expands his responsibilities to include overseeing efforts to synchronize and reinforce Arizona Summit Law School’s objective of graduating practice-ready professionals. He will lead and collaborate with faculty and program directors to further develop experiential learning opportunities for the law school, which involves developing curricula with more comprehensive incorporation of experiential teaching. In addition, he will oversee ongoing development of the school’s teaching law office/law school law firm, assist with furthering the school’s clinical ventures and legal pro bono opportunities, as well as grow the school’s highly successful externship program while fostering interaction and collaboration to encourage opportunities for experiential education prospects. His legal career began as an Associate at Vinson and Elkins, LLP in the firm’s corporate law practice, followed by a term with Ballard, Spahr, Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP in the firm’s business and finance practice. In 2008 Mr. Perez began his work in legal academia by joining Arizona Summit Law School. Mr. Perez received his MPA, BBA in accounting at the University of Texas at Austin from The Red McCombs School of Business, and earned his law degree from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law.
