Follow on Google News | ![]() Council For Accreditation In Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) Appoints New Council MemberCAOHC welcomes a new Council member to fulfill the role of the Military Audiology Association (MAA).
By: CAOHC CAOHC is a professional organization dedicated to advancing best practices in occupational hearing conservation world wide. In addition to MAA, the CAOHC Council is comprised of representatives from: American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN), American Academy of Audiology (AAA), American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS), American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), American Speech-Language- MAJ Hudson is Chief, Fort Stewart Army Hearing Program. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1985. Upon leaving active duty in 1991, he continued to serve as a military policeman in the Michigan National Guard. MAJ Hudson was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force in 2000. He served as a staff audiologist and Chief of the AF Audiology Fellowship program while assigned to the 59th Medical Wing, Lackland AFB, and later returned to the Wing as Audiology Flight Commander. MAJ Hudson also served as Acoustics Program Manager, Plans and Programs Executive Officer and Deputy Chief of the Warfighter Interface Division while assigned to the Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB. He transferred to the U.S. Army in 2012.
