#WDBGsnow2016 Snow Prediction Winners Announced by Woodbridge VA Community and Madigan's Waterfront

WOODBRIDGE, Va. - Jan. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- This weekend has brought a lot of snow to Northern Virginia.  As we were all stuck inside, the Facebook Woodbridge VA Community Fan Page was trying to help entertain us with the online contest #WDBGsnow2016.  Woodbridge VA Community, hosted by Woodbridge VA Realtor Claudia S. Nelson, partnered with Madigan's Waterfront Restaurant to create a snow prediction and photo contest.  Each contest offered several winners gift cards to the popular steak & seafood restaurant, Madigan’s, in Occoquan.

This morning as promised, Woodbridge VA Realtor Claudia S. Nelson measured the snow on her deck at exactly 10 a.m.  The measurement read 17.5" inches.  Woodbridge VA Community had almost 40 guesses, but one guess was exact, and that was Darrell Neace.  Darrell Neace placed his prediction of 17.5" on January 21 at 2:14 p.m.  Although the rules allowed for people to edit their predictions up until 2 a.m. on January 24, Darrell Neace never wavered with his prediction.  Immediately following Darrell Neace's forecast on January 21, Jesse FatJesse Dedmon commented on his prediction, "correct".  All lower case but very matter of fact!  We should have known then this was some kind of a prophecy.

Darrell Neace was notified he was the first place winner in the #WDBGsnow2016 snow prediction contest immediately following the measurements.  Based on the comments posted by Jesse Fat Jesus Dedmon, Darrell Neace asked Woodbridge VA community, "For his considerable winnings to be donated to his favorite charity and the Man who supported him through all of this and for being in full agreement on his prediction, FJ, Jesse FatJesus Dedmon."  Based on Darrell  Neace's request, Jesse Fat Jesus Dedmon will receive a $25 gift certificate to Madigan's Waterfront Restaurant in Occoquan.

There were 2 additional winners that received $20 gift cards to Madigan's Waterfront Restuarant.  Nicole Masters guessed 17.25" and Kimberly Williams of Dinwiddie guessed 17.2".

The photo contest portion of #WDBGsnow2016 is still in full effect.  You are able to submit photos using the hashtag #WDBGsnow2016 until Monday, January 25 at Noon.  Three winners will be selected for the WDBGsnow2016 photo contest.  Each winner will receive a $20 gift card to Madigan's Waterfront Restaurant in Occoquan.  The Woodbridge VA contest is free.  The only caveat to the #WDBGsnow2016 contest is you must be a fan to both Facebook Fan Pages Woodbridge VA community and Madigan's Waterfront, also known as the hosts to the WDBGsnow2016 contest.
