SPIN Launches SPIN:Speakers and SPIN:Hire A Planner

June 19, 2014 - PRLog -- SPIN, the Senior Planners Industry Network, announced today two new services to serve members and the public.  SPIN:Speakers will operate like a speaker bureau, promoting the association’s planners who are seeking speaking opportunities at conferences and events, whether inside or outside the industry. SPIN:Hire A Planner will operate like a fee-free job board, promoting the association’s planners who are seeking hourly, contract or permanent opportunities in the industry.  Both are free services for SPIN’s standard members.

SPIN:Speakers will feature a searchable database of planners seaking speaking gigs – from those who already have extensive professional speaker experience, to those who are less experienced as speakers, but deeply experienced in their topics.  Fees are set by the planner, and there is no commission charged.

SPIN:Hire A Planner is a searchable database of highly experienced planners - from those who have their own companies and are seeking contract work, to those seeking temp work as on-site staff at other planners’ events, to full-time employment opportunities.  There is no cost to SPIN members or potential employers.

Anyone looking to tap into that can hire one of our members to speak at their event, or to help them orchestrate it.”

When a SPIN member receives a booking from either site, SPIN requests an optional contribution of any amount, to fund the maintenance of the sites.

SPIN standard members can complete their profiles by visiting the SPIN web page, www.spinplanners.com.  The public can begin searching for speakers or planners immediately, although the sites have just begun to populate their databases. Both services will be fully operational in July.
