Bonacca Conch Festival Beauty Pageant

Bonacca is part of Guanaja, one of the Bay Islands of Honduras on the Atlantic side . It is about 45 miles off the north coast of Honduras, and 7 miles from Roatan, the largest of the three islands.  Each year Bonacca holds its Conch Festival during the month of July, and the beginning of August. Since the beginning of the festival several years ago, it has double in size and attracted visitors regionally and internationally. The 2014 Conch Festival is shaping up to be one of the largest in history, with more people planning to attend the festival than ever before.

This year the Conch Festival Beauty Pageant has taken up a new look, thanks to Cayman Business Directory (http://caymanbusinessdirectory.com/) who sponsored the development of images for the pageant's facebook page, and is also planning to assist in sponsoring a full website for the pageant. Owner of Cayman Business Directory, Mr. Mark Jackson was contacted by Mr. Shawn Holder, one of the Conch Festival organizers to assist in designing and promoting the Facebook page, consisting of eight beauty queens competing in this years' event. Upon revamping the design of the cover page and contestants profile images, ratings has jumped drastically and an increase in viewers locally and internationally has been seen on the pageant's home page.

The pageant event will take place on Graham's Island, which is located on the south side of Guanaja. Having been visited by some of the world's most prestigious people, the island offers its own sea aquarium, private beach, deers and sport fishing.
