JIS College of Engineering Ranked Among Top 100 Engineering Institutes in India

KOLKATA, India - June 30, 2014 - PRLog -- JIS College of Engineering, Kolkata, has featured among the top 100 engineering colleges in India in a survey carried out by Times Group along with i3 Research Consultants. The Engineering Institute Survey ranks JIS College of Engineering, one among the 30 institutes owned by JIS Group, 81 in the list headed by IIT Kharagpur.  Among private institutions offering engineering courses in the country, the college occupied 35th slot, ahead of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Mumbai), Xavier Institute of Engineering (Mumbai) and Bhilai Institute of Technology (Durg).

JIS College of Engineering is the first private autonomous engineering and NAAC accredited college in Eastern India. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of engineering and management. The undergraduate courses offered are as follows:
