Marketing Exec, Dasha Ware Awarded Top 5 Social Media Influencer of Atlanta at Social Media Day 2k14

June 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Last Thursday, June 26th was an eventful night in the Atlanta for the city’s elite players who use social media for business, entertainment, art, culture and just plain fun! Atlanta was celebrating it’s annual Social Media Day 2014!

The extravagant event was definitely the highlight of Atlanta’s nightlife as over 400 people came out to network, mingle, and find out who is Atlanta’s top social media influencer. Individuals and organizations had to acquire votes via Twitter to be named SMDAYATL14’s top social influencer. The voting period was open for approximately two months.

Social media practitioners, enthusiasts, influencers and neophytes congregated online to celebrate the day and learn from each other. Nominees included WSB-TV’s Jovita Moore, Arby’s Social Media Manager Josh Martin, the Gwinnett Braves, Dasha Ware, CEO of The Rising Star Group, and more! The winner was Atlanta's KissMySouthernSass, a apparel and gift brand that swept the competition with over 700 nominations.
