Multi-Cultural Romance Novel: New Release – Just Sex Please, Part II by Yuwanda Black

I had no intention of writing a sequel when I first wrote this short, erotic romance. But the first one landed in the Top 100 in a couple of categories on Amazon (Divorce / Erotic), so I felt like it hit some kind of nerve. Also, I got emails specifically asking for a sequel. I think the novel hit some kind of pent-up sexual nerve a lot of divorced women with self-esteem issues have.

I like to give readers what they want and really, once you start writing, the characters kinda take over. THEY tell you when a novel ends; you as the author have no control most of the time - and these two characters definitely had some unfinished business.

PREVIEW

After experiencing bliss with a male escort she hired just for her pleasure, 44 year-old, soon-to-be-divorced Marla had the orgasm she hadn't had in years. Her cheating husband hadn't satisfied her at all -- in years. And much to her surprise, instead of feeling ashamed -- as she thought she would after her sinful night -- she felt renewed, reinvigorated and ready to take on new challenges.

"So if the experience was such a positive one for you, why aren't you going to do it again?" her best friend Gloria asked.

"To be honest Gloria, I don't know for sure, but I think it's because it's just not me. As great as the sex was and as special as that man made me feel that night, he's still a stranger. And at the end of the day, I'm a relationship kind of woman."

"I want to make love to somebody; not just … you know …"

"Go ahead and say it … get fully f***ed," Gloria filled in for her.

Ignoring her friend's crassness of language, Marla continued, "Although again, for that night, it was just what I needed. And the guy went over and beyond. He held me after, without me even asking him to. It's like it came naturally to him; like he treasured that part of being intimate with someone as much as the actual sex act itself. Anyway, like I said, he made me feel special. … He's extra good at his job," she laughed wryly.

God she was gorgeous! It was all Caleb could think to himself as he looked across at his dinner companion. When she smiled, his whole insides lit up.

There was something so familiar about her. That voice. The way her hand had felt in his when she'd reached across the table to greet him. The way her hips had swayed as she made her way back from the ladies room.

He felt like he knew those curves.

Shaking his head at the impossibility of it, he said out loud, "I can't remember the last time I've had such a good time on a date. … I'd really like to see you again Marla," he said, his impossibly long lashes hiding the full spectrum of that blue, blue gaze from her.

"I'd like that," Marla responded, her right index finger circling the top of her wine glass to soothe her sudden nervousness.

Within 15 minutes of sitting, Marla had forgotten all of her reservations about this man -- that he was younger, of a different race, and almost definitely not attracted to curvy women like her.

On the contrary, throughout dinner he'd looked as if he wanted to devour her; making her feel as desirable as any Hollywood starlet.

"How soon would you like that; to see me again?" Caleb inquired boldly, his manhood hardening at the sultriness of her voice.
