Teen Choice Awards and Barbizon Modeling Team Up to Find Your Favorite Celebrity Smile

July 15, 2014 - PRLog -- On August 10, 2014 Fox’s Teen Choice Awards will broadcast around the world, celebrating a night of emerging stars from the best of this year’s television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web. The two-hour event offers fans the chance to have their voice heard and their votes counted as their favorite celebrities receive “choice” awards live 7:00PM/C (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The event airs from Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles, California. Last year teens cast over a 140 million votes in support of their favorite celebrities.

 This year, ABC Family’s "Pretty Little Liars" and The CW’s “The Vampire Diaries" lead the TEEN CHOICE 2014 nominees with five nominations each. Besides their high nomination count, the two leading shows share another common denominator, actor Sean Faris. The up-and-coming heartthrob moved to LA in 2000 after completing acting and modeling courses at Barbizon. Before his transplant, Faris was signed with STONE Model Talent Agency of Cleveland and was cast as the starring role in MDI Film's feature Twisted directed by Johnny Wu. Miguel DeJesus, formerly of STONE Agency and currently of Gersh Agency in Los Angeles, presented Faris to Johnny Wu who immediately saw Sean's star-quality, the rest is history. Additional Barbizon alumni represented at this year’s Teen Choice Awards are Sepehr Pazoki who appeared in “The Mindy Project” and Ddendyl Hoyt, a contestant on the latest season of “The Voice.” More so than any other academy, this year Barbizon Modeling is well-represented as the premiere modeling and acting studio for aspiring talent in the US. The official Barbizon category is “Choice Smile.” Last year One Direction singer Harry Styles was the beaming winner and he will have the chance to defend his title amongst this year’s nominees, which feature such winsome talent as Selena Gomez, Austin Mahone, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift.

 In an effort to cultivate a community of discovery, the renown modeling and acting center, Barbizon, is offering one lucky young person and one friend the chance to attend the 2014 Fox Teen Choice Awards. Contestants can submit entry to the www.Barbizon.tv website where a winner will be selected at random to receive airfare and boarding in LA, access to the event as well as VIP red carpet access. Last year's winner, Sadie brought along a camera to document her time mingling with her idols on the red carpet.
