IPAS and Barbizon Modeling Graduate to Film "CTS Off The Record"

   As pilot season draws to an end, the entertainment industry is buzzing about plans to begin filming “CTS Off the Record.” The latest celebrity gossip show will to utilize countdown-style programming is brought to life and made unique by a cast of five young and versatile actors: Nelson Brown, Wesley McGrady, Sierra Nicole, Rashawn Mosley and Barbizon graduate Jasmine Moton. The Los Angeles based group features local actors, comedians and models who are signed on to the project and ready to begin filming next week.

 While details have not yet been released, “CTS Off the Record” will display the versatile cast in ever-changing environments presenting popular music in a video countdown. The strength of the show blossoms from the lively antics of the multi-talented cast. Among the new faces brought to light in CTS Off the Record, the ensemble features Barbizon Modeling graduate Jasmine Moton who, after graduating from the Seattle, WA modeling academy, attended the International Performing Arts Showcase (IPAS) in June of 2013 where she was presented with an award for “Best Commercial.”

 Since her success at IPAS, Moton has been invited into the group as a modeling instructor and student adviser. In June, she will return to the Millenium Biltmore Hotel for her second tour with the company. IPAS is a one-week competitive talent showcase where actors, models, singers and dancers traverse from across the continent to perform before Los Angeles casting directors and agents. IPAS utilizes its resources to create a large networking opportunity for their attendees, their mission to provide an exciting, professional, courteous and safe environment for talent to be showcased. The safe environment and education-based event establishes a win-win situation for all who attend.

The festivities include seminars taught by industry professionals, a red carpet launch party, talent makeovers, an awards ceremony and banquet, as well as nightly mixers for mingling. IPAS contestants enter in any number of the following events from two categories, Model Showcases and Talent Showcases. Model Showcase events are: Fashion Runway, Swimwear, Fashion Print, TV Commercial Print. Talent Showcase events are: Singing, Dancing, TV Commercial, Soap (opera) Monologue, Sitcom, Commercial Print, Trendy Runway.

 Former IPAS success stories include American Idols’ David Archuleta, America’s Next Top Model Sheena Sakai, Actress Lyndsy Fonseca, Vogue’s Diana Georgia, Jordan Popvich.

This year’s industry attendees include Bonnie Ventis, Clear Talent Group; Elite model management; Milton Perea, Amsel Einsenstadt & Frazier INC; Mara Santino, Luber Roklin Entertainment; Marissa Surmenkow, Passport Models; acting coach Scott Sedita and casting director/choreographer Tony Gonzalez.
